Right of reply

A new energy industry threatens a lot of established interests, and companies in it attract hostile coverage and legal fights. Some are fair, some aren't. Either way, investors deserve to hear both sides. Any company we track can answer an article, a lawsuit or a regulatory action here, in its own words.

How it works

  1. We record the matter neutrally

What was reported, alleged or filed, by whom and when, with a link to the source and its current status. No adjectives, no verdicts.

  2. The company answers in its own words

Your response sits directly beneath the matter, with your name, role and the date. We don't edit it beyond fixing formatting.

  3. We confirm it's really you

Before anything is published we check the response came from the company, usually by replying to a company email address.

  4. Outcomes get updated

When a case is dismissed, settled or resolved, or a story is corrected, the status changes and the record says so.

Publishing a response isn't an endorsement of it, and recording a matter isn't a finding against anyone. Both appear on the company's profile for members, next to its evidence status and our site-visit reports.

Use an address at the company's domain if you can. We confirm every response with the company before publishing.
